Today was a happy day because I got a new Filofax in the mail. A Compact Finsbury in a beautiful yellow color (review post on that coming soon, promise. I may even try my hand at a video).
The color of the warm sun on a summer afternoon. A color that can’t help but make you smile when you look at it.
It arrived while I was at work and I thought all afternoon about how excited I am to go home and move into it. As I was contemplating how cool and fun it will be to use, I wondered which I would gravitate to more…this one or the raspberry Chameleon I started this compact journey with.
Mind you, I also have a brown Regency and a black Holborn that are new compacts, but those didn’t even make it into the gravitation thoughts.
And it dawned on me.
Color. I am beginning to love color.
This is VERY new.
And it feels VERY good.
So today what makes me happy is the human capacity for change…and how much I’ve changed recently, into a brighter, sunnier girl : )

That is yellow and a half!
I love colour (although clothes wise I’m a red and black gal) and that is guaranteed to set your heart singing. Can’t wait to see what you do with it!

I look fwd to your post or video on the Fins. I too love the compact size and have been eyeing this particular model and color. You pic here makes the yellow look absolutely beautiful. Yay for yellow!!!
